Health Tip of the Day

Dandelions are a wonderful source of both food and medicine.  As food, dandelion leaves contain Vitamin A, C and K for blood clotting and bone health.  They are also high in potassium, calcium, iron, folate and magnesium.  As medicine, the root stimulates bile production and is a gentle detoxifier.  For an added energy boost, consider adding dandelion leaves to your diet by munching them in the wild, or throwing a handful in your morning smoothie!
