Three nutrients have been shown to decrease migraine headaches by half.  The ubiquinol form of CoQ10 (50-100mg) taken with a little fish oil to improve absorption cuts migraine occurrence in half.  Studies show that 400mg of riboflavin (B2) daily also cuts migraine frequency in half by increasing energy production in the brain. Finally, studies show that Magnesium citrate, malate or aspartate (600 mg) daily reduces migraines by 41 percent when taken with B6 to help absorption.  To minimize migraine headaches, investigate the effectiveness of CoQ10, B2 and Magnesium.
